H1N1 Vaccine Availability

AWM Patients,
We are anticipating arrival of our first shipment of H1N1 vaccine. In order to be fair and allow for the most efficient way to vaccinate our pregnant patients we have taken the following steps:
Based on the number of doses AWM receives at a given time, all patients will randomly be assigned a number.
If your number is selected you will be receiving a phone call with information regarding the day, time, and AWM location that you will be receiving your H1N1 vaccination.
If your number is not selected you will be placed on the list to be randomly assigned for the next H1N1 vaccine shipment.
ALL PREGNANT PATIENTS HAVE A FAIR AND EQUAL CHANCE OF BEING SELECTED EACH TIME AWM RECEIVES A NEW SHIPMENT OF THE H1N1 VACCINE.
(You can also try to obtain the H1N1 vaccine from your primary care provider’s office).
Please remember that all medical offices, including AWM, are at the mercy of NYSDOH regarding shipment and delivery of the H1N1 Vaccine. We have no influence over how much comes in. We also want to assure you that we have ordered sufficient volumes to vaccinate all pregnant patients.
Sincerely,
AWM Physicians
