New Maternity Rooms at St. Joseph's Hospital

We have some exciting news from the Maternity Unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital! First, thank you for choosing to deliver at our hospital. We will take great care of you and your family. Starting on February 1st, 2010 we will begin remodeling our unit. This project will take about nine months. The end product will be 20 beautiful new private rooms. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience during the construction. Our goal is to make your stay one that is wonderful for your new family.
Here is an approximate timetable for the renovation:
February 1st-April 1st: a new reception area, small nursery, staff lounge, and physician area will be constructed.
April 1st-July 1st: the old nursery will be closed and the 4 patient rooms on that same side of the hall will be closed for demolition.
July 1st –Sept 1st: once the new 10 private rooms are done we will close the other side and rooms 5101-5106 will be done.
Sept 1st to Nov 1st: we will finish rooms 5107-5110.
